Assistant Vice President Food & Beverage, China – Shangri-La Group

Adam is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive international experience, having worked across multiple continents and regions. Since 2019, he has been the Regional Food & Beverage Leader for the China region at Shangri-La Hotel Group. In this role, he focuses on driving the performance and marketing of restaurants and bars, while spearheading talent development and product innovation. Leveraging Shangri-La's deep roots in Asian hospitality, his primary mission is to enhance Chinese dining experiences and promote regional cuisines that customers love.

Adam's career has spanned diverse regions, providing him with a unique global perspective. He began his journey with Hyatt Group, where he spent 16 years in various roles across the Greater China region. His experience extends beyond China, with assignments in Thailand and Vietnam, where he honed his skills in cross-cultural management and operational excellence. Additionally, he has held executive positions in Food & Beverage at both Four Seasons and Rosewood Hotel Group, both on-property and off-property. These roles allowed him to work with diverse teams and develop a deep understanding of international hospitality standards.

Adam was born in Taipei, educated in Australia and Singapore and is a graduate of the DCT Lucerne Hotel Management School in Switzerland. His international upbringing and education have equipped him with a strong foundation in global hospitality practices.
