Having more than 22 years in the hospitality industry, Himanshu excels in competitive, challenging and culturally diverse environments. Certified from the Harvard University on Food Science and Cooking, his constant goal is to cultivate and maintain the finest of culinary and F&B operations with the upcoming market trends and innovations.
Himanshu commenced his career with Marriott International in the year 2010 at the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu & worked till 2016 before moving to Director of Culinary of The St. Regis, Mumbai. Himanshu was appointed as Culinary Director for India in 2018. His repertoire and knowledge about the ‘Science of Food’ have resulted in his rapid growth and trajectory within the organisation and given his remarkable contribution in growing the culinary operations, he was promoted as Culinary Director for South Asia, Marriott International in 2019.
He is highly respected amongst his peers both within the organisation and in the industry, has worked with some world-renowned chefs and been part of many successful openings of restaurants and hotels in the last few years.
Himanshu has won many awards in his career including ‘Global Executive Chef of the Year 2015’ by Marriott International. He is very instrumental in positioning the F&B reputation in the country having curated concepts that are both innovative and trendsetting.
