Iris Lam is the Director of Sustainability, Global Development for the award-winning Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, which owns and operates some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences. Iris actively leads and collaborates with a group of like-minded and motivated colleagues and stakeholders from around the world to achieve sustainable ambitions and initiatives, such as responsible procurement commitments, single-use plastic free operations, environmental efficiencies targets, and social and community impact.

She previously worked as a food and beverage specialist for over a decade in corporate and operational contexts and is especially interested about finding win-win solutions in the F&B industry, such as decarbonising the food value chain, reducing food waste and preserving biodiversity for future generations. Iris combines her love of clever design with a healthy dose of curiosity for cutting-edge commercial solutions that are ethical, sustainable, and truly solve climate change concerns.
